About SAHIH SAHIH is an Islamic companion app designed to bring useful Islamic tools together in one place, including Qur’an access, prayer times, Qibla guidance, Islamic sources, AI-assisted answers, Islamic learning content, audio stories, halal-related tools, and other features. SAHIH is intended to support learning and everyday Islamic practice. It is not a replacement for qualified Islamic scholars or religious authorities. 2. Islamic Content & Accuracy SAHIH aims to provide Islamic information from reliable and authentic sources. However, mistakes may occur in translations, references, calculations, AI-generated responses, software, or displayed information. Religious matters may also differ according to scholarly interpretation, school of thought, circumstances, or location. For important religious rulings or personal matters, users should consult a qualified scholar. If you discover an error in Islamic content, please contact us so it can be reviewed. 3. Ask SAHIH & Artificial Intelligence SAHIH may provide AI-powered features that help users find and understand information from Islamic sources. AI-generated responses can make mistakes, misunderstand questions, or miss important context. References and original sources should therefore be checked when accuracy is important. An AI-generated answer should not be considered a fatwa or authoritative religious ruling. Where supported, SAHIH is designed to perform AI processing directly on the user's device after the required model has been downloaded. 4. Privacy SAHIH is designed with privacy in mind. Depending on the features you use, the app may request access to device capabilities such as: Location for prayer times, Qibla direction, nearby mosques, and location-based features. Camera for scanning and AR-related functionality. Microphone for voice or recitation-based features. Notifications for prayer reminders and other requested alerts. Permissions are requested through your device and can be changed through iOS Settings. Some information, such as preferences, bookmarks, reading progress, downloads, or other app data, may be stored locally on your device. Some functionality may require an internet connection or communication with third-party services. Information necessary to perform those requests may be processed by those services according to their own privacy practices. 5. Prayer Times & Qibla Prayer times may depend on your location, selected calculation method, device settings, and regional conventions. They may differ from times published by your local mosque or religious authority. Qibla direction can be affected by compass calibration, magnetic interference, location accuracy, device sensors, and your surroundings. Users should verify this information when necessary. 6. Halal & Ingredient Information Any halal or ingredient-scanning functionality in SAHIH is provided as an informational aid only. A result from SAHIH is not halal certification or a religious ruling. Ingredients, manufacturing processes, suppliers, and product formulations can change. When certainty is required, verify the product with its manufacturer, a recognized halal certification organization, or a qualified Islamic authority. 7. Your Data SAHIH does not claim ownership of information or content that you personally create within the app. You are responsible for protecting your device and maintaining backups of information that is important to you. Locally stored information may be lost if the app is deleted, device data is erased, or software problems occur. 8. Third-Party Services Certain SAHIH features may rely on third-party technologies or services, including Apple services, maps, online databases, content providers, or other infrastructure. SAHIH cannot guarantee the availability, accuracy, security, or practices of independent third-party services. 9. Qur’anic text, translations, Islamic works, datasets, software libraries, and other third-party materials may have their own respective owners, licenses, or usage conditions. 11. Availability & Disclaimer We aim to keep SAHIH accurate, secure, and available, but we cannot guarantee that the app will always operate without errors or interruptions. Features may be changed, improved, added, or removed over time. To the extent permitted by applicable law, SAHIH is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. SAHIH and its operators are not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on inaccurate information, AI-generated responses, third-party information, device sensor inaccuracies, or interruptions outside our reasonable control. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded. 12. Changes to This Policy This policy may be updated as SAHIH develops, its services change, or legal requirements evolve.
